Download PlayGrid 1.1.0The app updates itself from then on — you will not need this page again.
What's new
Version 1.1.0
- Stream Deck and Companion buttons now show state: Play lights while the channel is on air, Loop while the channel's loop toggle is on. Nothing to configure — PlayGrid answers whoever sends it a command.
- The Play key on a remote is now Play / Pause, the same button as in the window.
- Multiview NDI output no longer drifts against real time — the cause of the occasional dropped frame on a receiver, even on the same machine.
- The iPad remote now receives transport and loop changes while something is playing.
- Playlist: blocks can be selected, Cmd+A selects everything, and Delete clears the whole selection down to one empty block. Cmd+A and Delete always act on the channel you are looking at.
- Playlist: drag a clip onto a row — the upper half means before it, the lower half after — and it lands where the indicator was, including at the top of a block.
- Stream Deck plugin 1.2.0 and the Companion configuration are on the download page.
Remote control
PlayGrid takes commands over OSC and sends state back, so a Play key lights while its channel is on air and a Loop key while the loop is on. Turn on OSC in PlayGrid under Settings → Remote and note the port (8000 by default).
| Stream Deck plugin
Elgato Stream Deck app 6.5 or later. Double-click the
file to install; set PlayGrid's IP and OSC port once in any PlayGrid
key — they are shared by all of them. |

| Companion configuration
Bitfocus Companion 3 — Import / Export → Import. Two
pages: an 8-channel overview and one channel with global transport.
Set the connection's target host to PlayGrid's IP afterwards. |
